Completed - Natural Hair Lookin' Good

4. Discover how to make my natural hair look good enough for a public appearance (3/18/2018) If you didn't know, my hair is not naturally straight. It's nearly always straight - but that takes blow drying it as straight as I can, then separating it into 2-3 layers and straightening it. While this can be pretty time-consuming for me, I just didn't know what to do with my naturally frizzy, wavy, super poofy hair! These pictures below show what my hair REALLY looks like. I parted it and brushed it once after I got out of the shower, then just let it air dry. And yeah. Definitely not straight. I knew that I probably needed to use some kind of product to tame it, but I didn't want to waste money on stuff that wouldn't work for me. Luckily, my fantastic sister-in-law Kenzie and my always awesome best friend Amanda let me borrow some curling sprays that they had. 20 in 2020

I won't be doing another 101 list for a while, but in the meantime I've been doing a 20 in 2020 list for this year...kind of. It's nothing serious at all. I don't think I'll do anything huge with it on here, but I decided to post it anyway to document it and keep myself a little more accountable. Read scriptures once a week Make my business logo Throw away/organize storage, papers, excess, memories, etc. New wardrobe (throw away HS clothes!!) Get back on a consistent AIP/Paleo lifestyle Playing Preschool regularly with Daisy Get new glasses Toddler feeding course Have a baby Write in journal once every 1-2 weeks Indexing 6 times Finish Katamari Read 10 new books Take a watercolor class Start and keep up a walking/yoga routine Find a together hobby/fun thing/interest Go to therapy Recycling and reducing waste Decorations/pictures in our house Eat a macaron Some things are a little vague, but like I said, it's not serious and I'm...

Half Credit? | #86 - Blood Type and #58 - Savings

86. Donate blood and find out my blood type - DONE-ish 3/16   58. $1500 in savings account - DONE-ish 10/16 I got sooooo close to accomplishing these two. Should I modify them and count them both? Is that allowed? (Sara? haha) I feel like I should at least count them together as one completed item - half credit each! So I wasn't able to donate blood, but I had to get some blood tests while I was pregnant and that allowed me to find out my blood type! I'm an A+. Jonathan is an A-. After I found out we joked about how my blood has better grades than his. On the savings account, we were able to get up to $1300 until a root canal and hospital bills required us to use it. So yeah, I got pretty close. I'll decide within the week how I want to count them. But at least they're documented!
