The Me Monthly - Volume 20
ME THIS MONTH
February! One of the best months because it includes my birthday :) We were busy - got Jonathan ready for Japan, I worked and finished setting up my business, and we got to spend a lot of time with friends! The friends part was the best. Sara and Garrett came into town and stayed with us for a few days :D One day, Sara and I played co-op Stardew IN PERSON for at least 3 hours. Plus good talks, some Just Dance, and board games. What could be better than all that? It was the best. They're the best :) We also got to go with them to the Emal's annual Oscars Party, which is ALWAYS a fun time. And when Into the Spider-verse won best animated film, I totally cheered and clapped. What a great movie. Heck. What a great time.
It was also my birthday this month! I made all my favorite AIP foods that day (waffles, tuna avocado salad, pork carnitas plantain nachos, apple crisp with caramel sauce) and Myke and Amanda came over for games and the apple crisp :) We also played a Bob Ross game that I got and watched an episode of Bob Ross. I guess there was an unintentional, but totally enjoyed, theme to my party haha :) But yeah! Good day :) I'm 26 now! I feel like I'm older than I am - just mentally/emotionally, physically I feel pretty good - and so whenever I tell people how old I am I get self-conscious because I don't want them to think I'm a naive, inexperienced baby (even though I probably am). Anyway! The years move on! And someday in the future I'll probably think, "man, when I was 26 I was such a baby!" and laugh and then have to fight off a robot or something.
Anticipating: reintroducing eggs this coming week! I'm so nervous I'll have a bad reaction :/ I want eggs back in my diet so baaaaaad
Wishing: the snow would stop and it would get warmmmm
Making: coconut caramel sauce. I had a problem this month. I probably made it like 3 different times and would just eat it with a spoon. Been sugaring myself up a little tooooooo much.
THE FOCUS GROUP
18. Hang a gallery wall with pictures and decor
Still haven't bought anything, but I decided on a few quotes that I for sure want on my walls! Even though that doesn't really sound like progress, it's a big deal for me! I want to have the quotes "Be Still" and "If we are kind and polite, the world will be right" hanging somewhere in my house. I'm even planning to have that last quote be on a map of the world, so I can pass off #89 too!
My other focus area for this month is to take time and WRITE POSTS. I'm pretty sure there are two or three that I've completed (or will in the next week or so), I just need to sit down and record them!
12 PROJECTS - 30 DAYS
Project 7 - Notice Love (February - Finished)
Being honest with myself, I could have done better at this one. I had wanted to write down something everyday to help me notice love, but I didn't do that. I usually ended up remembering I was doing this and retroactively thought of things. But I did notice acts or expressions of love that I don't think I would have before, so I'm going to say that's a win!
Project 8 - Food/Mood Journal (March - Started)
I've been keeping a food and mood journal for a while, but it usually dies on the weekends and then sometimes I don't start it back up for a week or more. I want to reintroduce eggs soon, and I need to keep a really good log for that.

DAISY'S BOOK OF THE MONTH
This month we read this book quite a few times: Millions of Cats
It was one of my favorite books when I was little, because cats are fantastic, and Daisy is loving it for the cats too! After all, there's hundreds of cats, thousands of cats, millions and billions and trillions of cats in this book, so how could you not love it? It ends a lot more violently than I remembered, so I've been changing some of the words, not that it really matters, but still haha :)
