33. Decorate those birds (3/24/2018)

I bought these birds at a wood shop's closing sale last year. I usually get craft stuff and never do anything with it, but I didn't want that to happen to these! And bam! Here they are, all done and matching a future comforter for Daisy!


I'm really happy with how they turned out. I especially like the wing cut-outs :) Hooray for monthly craft nights!

36. Prepare something I would say to 3-5 famous people I would like to meet (10/10/19) For this, I really had to think about who I thought was "famous". I ended up picking three people/groups that have affected me a lot, while most might not think of them as famous. I chose Shannon Hale (my favorite author), Rhett and Link (my favorite YouTubers), and The Arcadian Wild (one of my new favorite bands). I'm not going to put exactly what I wrote/prepared for them here, but I was able to actually "tell" two of them the things I wanted to say! I sent an Instagram message to The Arcadian Wild, essentially saying thank you for their lyrics and music. When I was introduced to them, their lyrics made such a huge impact on me and just made me feel seen and safe and so happy. For Shannon Hale, I wrote her a thank you card! 20 in 2020

I won't be doing another 101 list for a while, but in the meantime I've been doing a 20 in 2020 list for this year...kind of. It's nothing serious at all. I don't think I'll do anything huge with it on here, but I decided to post it anyway to document it and keep myself a little more accountable. Read scriptures once a week Make my business logo Throw away/organize storage, papers, excess, memories, etc. New wardrobe (throw away HS clothes!!) Completed - 2 Meals per Week

55. For one month, plan and make at least 2 meals/week (9/7/2017) For our whole marriage I've been really bad at planning meals and making healthy dinners. We usually eat terribly. But I want to change that! So during the first weekend of August I planned about seven meals and did some major grocery shopping. I later came up with a few more. These are the meals I planned and the weeks I made them: Week of August 6th - Chicken & Broccoli Casserole, Chili & Cornbread Week of August 13th - Salisbury Steak, Chicken Taquitos Week of August 20th - Rainbow Wraps, Italian Dressing Pasta Week of August 27th - Mock Tacos, Oven Baked Chicken Week of September 3rd - Chicken Burritos, BLTs (There were a few small meals that I "planned," like I decided the night before that I was going to make Mac & Cheese the next day, but I didn't keep track of those.
