ME THIS MONTH For all the folks following along - I got my colonoscopy. It was QUITE the experience. The week of was probably one of the worst weeks we've ever had at our house. Daisy had a cold, none of us really got any sleep (I'm pretty sure I got maybe 10 hours in 3 days) , and it seemed like everything was going wrong. During my colonoscopy prep - all liquid diet, then a gallon of laxative the night before - I threw up. That laxative stuff is one of the nastiest things I have ever tasted. Because I threw it up, I couldn't get my colonoscopy the next day and had to do an extra day of prep. Luckily they let me do a laxative with Gatorade instead. It obviously tasted way better, but I threw that up too :( I was so worried I wouldn't get to have it done and that I would have to do this all over again. (Imagine that, hoping you're ready for a colonoscopy.) Luckily the next morning I kept the other half of the prep down and when I got to the hospital they said
