I haven't posted in a little while because I've been traveling and working and not doing anything on my list. But my goal is to have something crossed off within the next month. I'm not sure what yet, but something! For now, here's what I'm doing currently . Thanks for the idea Ashley! :) Making: memories. the past month has been awesome! Eating: fruit snacks, a granola bar, wheat thins, and a string cheese. my typical lunch. Drinking: lemonade. it's summertime!! Reading: just started Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. just finished Dangerous by Shannon Hale. Wanting: a snow cone! with cream. Watching: western movies. tonight it's The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Playing: candy crush - I'm addicted. Wasting: my time. I wake up super late, I go to work, then I stay up late doing nothing. I MET ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS!! | #4 - Concert

Image
And it was fantastic :) 4. Go to a concert - DONE 6/10/14 Some set up is needed. About a year ago, Rhett and Link (my favorite Youtubers), mentioned a band on their morning talk show, Good Mythical Morning (you should definitely check it out - so funny!). The Show Ponies . I decide to check them out. I realize I really like them. I become a big fan! Not this   This So I follow them on Facebook, because I like them and want to support them and that's what fans do!  Although it's kind of sad for me because they're on the west coast, so I hear about all the shows they're doing and I can't go to them. Then a few months ago they announce on their Facebook that they're in a contest to open for Carrie Underwood at the Stadium of Fire! There were four brackets and you needed to win your bracket to be in the final four. I vote for them! Multiple times! AND THEN. I find out that the final four "battle of the bands" is in OREM, UTAH. I bas

Are you a fan of delicious flavor? | #96 - Food Truck

Image
Can you name what TV show the title is from? It's one of my favorites :) 96. Eat at a food truck - DONE 6/6/14 And boy was it good! I got home from work and my roommate Danielle said, "The Sweeto Burrito truck is up the street! Let's go get dinner!"  So we went. It was kind of spontaneous, but it was an all-win situation. Observe :  Friends. Food.  Food truck.  Passed something off my 101 list. See? Great combo. Wins all around! I got *thee* sweeto burrito. And delicious onion rings! They were both way good! I like the sauces they have in the burrito; I think it's their "neato sauce" and also a cilantro ranch. Amanda got the white chick, and next time I am TOTALLY getting that one. So much flavor! I am very pleased with my food truck experience. I plan on eating at them more often! Apparently there's one called The Mouse Trap that serves fancy grilled cheese sandwiches. And then there's Art City

1 Down, 100 to Go! | #83 - Swings

Image
I completed the first thing from my 101 list!! 83. Go to a park and swing on the swings - DONE 5/17/14 There was even a trip involved! Amanda and I drove up to Logan on Friday night to spend some time with Katie friend! This trip was originally planned for her birthday weekend back in March, but life got crazy for everyone, so we came up two months later instead. (And I just have to say, I was amazed at how GREEN everything was on the drive up. I don't think I've ever seen landscape that green before. As we drove through the canyon to get to Logan, I just stared.) We left Provo when we were both done with work, and we got to Logan around 8 pm. Katie called us right as we were pulling up, but we told her we wouldn't be there for another 30 minutes. Then we doorbell-ditched her birthday card. We're so clever :) Later that night, a bunch of Katie's friends came over for games! We saw some old friends and met some new people. It was SO FUN!! It made m

Who is Me?

Honestly, I'm still trying to figure that out. There are definitely some constants in my life: my belief in my religion, my love of laughter, and my desire to be better (to name a few). That last item is the reason for all this - I know I can be better, and I want to be the best I can be. Right now I'm not, but it's okay! I'm 21, I'm on my own, I'm working and going to school, I'm single, and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. It's an interesting and difficult time; the perfect place to start becoming awesome. I do appreciate where I am, who I am, and what I'm doing; but I know that I have an adventurous spirit and a lot of potential just waiting to break free! I've just been a little too stuck in my comfort zone to let them out. --------------------- Enter 101 in 1001 ---------------------   A very good friend and hero of mine, Sara Pennepacker, introduced me to something called "101 in 1001" - a list of 101 things t
