63. Get professional photos taken - DONE 10/22/14 and 11/29/14

I wanted to do both of these because they happened pretty close together and I love the pictures from them. So! Engagement photos! Done by Clawson Images (Taelor Clawson, a friend I met my first semester at UVU). She was super!! These are some of my favorites!




I really wanted to do the pictures in the fall with all the beautiful leaves changing colors. We were a little too late, but they turned out really good, so no complaints :) It also took us (me) forever to decide on outfits, and it seriously took forever to find that dress and even LONGER to find that scarf. We did so much shopping! But Jonathan was a champ through all my indecisiveness and weird worries. And he's still like that. I just love him :)

And these, taken on 11/29/15 are my bridals!! :) I found my dress a lot quicker than the engagement photo outfits. The wonderful Danielle Poulsen (my sister-in-law's sister) took these pictures and it was a blast working with her. We could just laugh and we never felt awkward. Also, my bouquet is made of fake flowers and I loved that it wasn't super heavy and I didn't have to worry about the flowers falling apart, etc. for photos. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot :)



 






If you can't tell, I like pictures with bridges. Haha :) And there you go! Got professional photos taken! I learned that I feel weird doing too many poses and that we aren't good at serious faces (I purposely left all of those pictures out. haha) I'm excited to get professional photos taken again - next time with an addition to our little family! :)

I want to break these monthly update posts into sections. This is probably kind of overkill, but I think it will help to give me direction and I feel like it will be easier for me too. If I finish a goal, I'll still do a separate post for it within the week I finish it (hopefully). Completed - Words to Famous People

36. Prepare something I would say to 3-5 famous people I would like to meet (10/10/19) For this, I really had to think about who I thought was "famous". I ended up picking three people/groups that have affected me a lot, while most might not think of them as famous. I chose Shannon Hale (my favorite author), Rhett and Link (my favorite YouTubers), and The Arcadian Wild (one of my new favorite bands). I'm not going to put exactly what I wrote/prepared for them here, but I was able to actually "tell" two of them the things I wanted to say! I sent an Instagram message to The Arcadian Wild, essentially saying thank you for their lyrics and music. When I was introduced to them, their lyrics made such a huge impact on me and just made me feel seen and safe and so happy. For Shannon Hale, I wrote her a thank you card! Completed - 2 Meals per Week

55. For one month, plan and make at least 2 meals/week (9/7/2017) For our whole marriage I've been really bad at planning meals and making healthy dinners. We usually eat terribly. But I want to change that! So during the first weekend of August I planned about seven meals and did some major grocery shopping. I later came up with a few more. These are the meals I planned and the weeks I made them: Week of August 6th - Chicken & Broccoli Casserole, Chili & Cornbread Week of August 13th - Salisbury Steak, Chicken Taquitos Week of August 20th - Rainbow Wraps, Italian Dressing Pasta Week of August 27th - Mock Tacos, Oven Baked Chicken Week of September 3rd - Chicken Burritos, BLTs (There were a few small meals that I "planned," like I decided the night before that I was going to make Mac & Cheese the next day, but I didn't keep track of those.
