Completed - 15 Eateries
86. Go to 15 new eateries (1/4/20)
This was a wonderful goal and I thoroughly enjoyed it :) I ate some REALLY good food. I love going to new restaurants, but sometimes I have a hard time making choices. I've learned that looking up menus before I go somewhere is a good idea for me so I don't get decision-making paralysis. Throughout this I had a few huge gaps because of my AIP diet and then a bunch of new places all at once during "off" days, so I'm glad I was able to complete this one! My favorite place out of all of them was probably Foodies Brick & Mortar. If you're ever near/in Tri-Cities, WA, GO THERE.
1. Station 22 (10/13/17) I got Mac and Cheese with pulled pork. It was pretty good!
2. Koi Express (12/18/17) I got miso ramen and sushi (Vegas roll). They were AMAZING!!

3. The Baked Bear (3/23/18) I got funfetti cookies with cake batter ice cream - yummy but expensive.
4. Asa Ramen (5/19/18) I got Tonkotsu/Shoyu Ramen and tried the Chashu Bun - SO DELICIOUS.
5. Demae Sushi (5/29/18) I tried so many different kinds, but I bought the Philadelphia and Vegas rolls. Very good stuff! And you can't beat $3.50 for any roll on Tuesdays & Thursdays!!
6. Wise Guys Pizzeria (12/22/18) Pizza place we went to in Texas! I tried two different pizzas, but the "Uncle Ray from Cali" pizza was fantastic. They also had these little garlic bread ball things that were SO GOOD. We also got Daisy some mac and cheese that she wouldn't eat, so I did, and it was all right :)
7. Shari's (4/26/19) Out of the many delicious sounding breakfast options, I chose the Cinnama-Sation French Toast: cinnamon rolls dipped in egg batter and topped with caramel sauce, candied pecans and whipped cream. I was in HEAVEN!!
8. The Spudnut Shop (4/26/19) I got a regular spudnut with frosting and sprinkles! We got there 10 minutes before they closed so it wasn't super fresh, but it was still really yummy!
9. Foodies Brick & Mortar (4/26/19) I got the All American Burger and it had all the classics on it - cheese, mayo/mustard, tomato, pickles, lettuce, onions. And let me tell you, it was EXACTLY was I was hoping for. I also got their amazing fries, and our waiter brought us their fantastic salsa to try for free, which I ended up also dipping the fries in. Everything was SO DELICIOUS. I hope that one day I can go back.
10. Last Course (6/29/19) I got a slice of White Biscoff cake (Cake by Courtney) with Last Course's Gooey Brownie ice cream. Holy deliciousness these were both AMAZING. Perfect off-diet/cheat treat experience.
11. Bahama Bucks (7/13/19) Fanciest snow cone place ever! I got half blue coconut, half peach, with their cream on top. Pretty good! Definitely the best shaved ice I've had - it was like real snow! However, I was hoping the cream was like whipping cream, so I was a little disappointed there.
12. Wiseguys (7/27/19) Comedy club where we watched Olan Rogers. We caved and got their nachos. Unfortunately it was not-cho a good idea. I did not like them and I felt like I had AIP-cheated in a very disappointing way. The chicken was in huge chunks (who does that on nachos??) and "pico de gallo" was just diced tomatoes and that's it. Not a fan.
13. Rockwell Ice Cream (11/16/19) I've been wanting to go here for a while, and finally got the chance! I got their Birthday Cake flavor and it was hands-down the BEST birthday cake ice cream that I've ever had. I went here another time just a month later and the other flavors I tried were amazing too!
14. Midici (12/26/19) We went here with family and got a few different types of pizza. The best was definitely the Chicken Pesto pizza, as well as the Bruschetta appetizer. I liked the place and food well enough, but I don't know if I would go again unless I was seriously craving it because of the price.
15. Black Bear Diner (1/4/20) I got their regular Bear's Choice breakfast, which was just 2 eggs, 2 (GIANT) pancakes, and 2 sausages. I also stole some hashbrowns from Jonathan's plate and I ate most of Daisy's chocolate chip pancakes. It was all pretty good, but nothing too fancy. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there again, but I wouldn't turn it down!
