Christmas Service | #32 - Rest Home

32. Visit a rest home (sing, play games, listen) - DONE 12/20/15 

I don't have any pictures of this, but Jonathan and I were able to participate in a sacrament service at a rest home. Our ward had an assignment there and we were asked to help with the Christmas program. We got to talk to some sweet ladies and we sang a lot of Christmas hymns. It was a great! I really want to spend some more time at a rest home in the future, but specifically to talk and listen to amazing people :)

I am SO EXCITED to finally start this list. I was coming up with ideas back in November as a way to avoid homework, then I took forever to finish it after my last list was done. But these past few weeks I've really been itching to start, so I buckled down and finished it! I wanted to break my list into different categories so I could make it more well-rounded. Completed - 2 Meals per Week

55. For one month, plan and make at least 2 meals/week (9/7/2017) For our whole marriage I've been really bad at planning meals and making healthy dinners. We usually eat terribly. But I want to change that! So during the first weekend of August I planned about seven meals and did some major grocery shopping. I later came up with a few more. These are the meals I planned and the weeks I made them: Week of August 6th - Chicken & Broccoli Casserole, Chili & Cornbread Week of August 13th - Salisbury Steak, Chicken Taquitos Week of August 20th - Rainbow Wraps, Italian Dressing Pasta Week of August 27th - Mock Tacos, Oven Baked Chicken Week of September 3rd - Chicken Burritos, BLTs (There were a few small meals that I "planned," like I decided the night before that I was going to make Mac & Cheese the next day, but I didn't keep track of those. Half Credit? | #86 - Blood Type and #58 - Savings

86. Donate blood and find out my blood type - DONE-ish 3/16   58. $1500 in savings account - DONE-ish 10/16 I got sooooo close to accomplishing these two. Should I modify them and count them both? Is that allowed? (Sara? haha) I feel like I should at least count them together as one completed item - half credit each! So I wasn't able to donate blood, but I had to get some blood tests while I was pregnant and that allowed me to find out my blood type! I'm an A+. Jonathan is an A-. After I found out we joked about how my blood has better grades than his. On the savings account, we were able to get up to $1300 until a root canal and hospital bills required us to use it. So yeah, I got pretty close. I'll decide within the week how I want to count them. But at least they're documented!
